I think my memory must be playing tricks on me with regard to thinking the cars were standard Club spec, but then again, it was 20 years ago....

It's a shame to see the photo above (Trikey ) of a T-reg looking in such a state At Dales we did exactly what dave lincs mentions, and put the Atlantic blue on the road, keeping the Wedgewood car for the showroom.

By chance, we had previously sold a Rover 400 which was registered on the no. plate R75 FAF. With the new 75 soon to arrive, we contacted the 400 customer, got them in, offered an amazing deal to part-exchange it, then transferred the plate and put it on our 75 demo. There were some raised eyebrows from the bosses when they saw the trade-in allowance...

I’ve got an Atlantic Blue launch car!

It’s however a V6 Connoisseur, bit of a different one.

That's certainly one of the ones I was thinking of Great number plate too

Do we know if anyone in the club took it on.....it really doesn't look that bad to me. Every car of this age is going to need a bit of work, welding to sills, etc. They are now 20 years old, so probably double their original design life, done well to last that long looking so good !
