![]() 2001 MG ZT 180+ Sports
Mileage: 69K MOT: 08/11/2014 Tax: End April 2014 Commission number: ZT-002619 This 2.5lr V6 automatic in solar red drives very well and is in good mechanical condition. It has 18 inch hairpins with good tyres and the non standard options include red Monaco half leather interior, cruise control and front headlight washers I've owned the car just over a year and in that time it has had:
Whilst the car is in good shape mechanically it is slightly let down by the bodywork. There is a small area of laquer peel on the boot lid and other spots of laquer lifting on various areas of the car. There is also a small patch of rust on the lower rear corner of the off side rear passenger door. There is also a small crease\dent in the rear bumper. I'll add clear photos of all of these areas. The unique thing about this car is that it was the very first ZT 180 Sports Auto assembled. It is listed as "Prototype" on the V5C for the Type Approval Number. Reebs kindly confirmed it was the first of the 180's built and that the build details are: Off_assembly_date YYYY-MM-DD: 2001-11-01 Off_assembly_time: 08:40:19 Brochure_model_code: RJXLN Brochure_model_desc: ZT M1 Saloon 2.5KV6 Auto (180 Sales_model_derivative: RNZLN Sales_model_derivative_desc: MG ZT + 180 Sports Auto Model_year: 2002 Home_export: HOME Country: GREAT BRITAIN Exterior_paint: Solar Red Interior_trim: Ash / Red / Green - Red Insert Engine: 2500 NA 178Bhp Trimlevel: TL 5.1 (M1) Bodytype: ZT Hand_of_drive: RHD Manual_auto: A At the last MOT it had advisories for the handbrake (surprise, surprise) and NSF upper ARB link dust cover damaged. Other not so great things I should make clear are that there is only 1 key and the air conditioning isn't freezing cold. Oh and the windscreen fluid smells - I'm guessing that it just needs flushing though, but it does smell a bit. I'm having to sell it unfortunately as I need to start driving more for work and can't justify keeping the car for occasional trips out. The car is advertised elsewhere for £850 but I am open to near offers from club members for a quick and easy sale. I'll get some pictures taken on Friday when I'll next be at home in the light, but I'll add a couple of pictures from last summer. Car is located in Staines, TW18. Any queries at all please let me know, Cheers, Tom |
