Default NANO MEETS 2018 ( Join Us ) In March 24th-25th

Hello all members /owners.

Our yearly Nano meets are not far from starting the first one being March Saturday 23rd 7 Sunday 24th 2018.

At our usual venue the Four Ashes Public House.

You are all welcome to attend so hopefully see quite a few of you at one if not more of them throughout the year, you can find our calendar on our nano forum, the link is also at the bottom by my signature.

There is free camping on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 March for those that want it, either bring your tent, caravan or sleep in the car.

Also there are plenty of local B&Bs/ hotels at reasonable prices, details on the links page of our website below for those that do not fancy camping.
http://www.midlandsnanomeets.co.uk/links.html

There is a full English breakfast with tea/coffee on both Saturday & Sunday mornings for around £5 but we need to get the numbers over 15 to make it worth while, so therefore if you are coming please state if you would like breakfast, either or both days, there is also a Saturday evening meal if you wanted to join in the social part the Saturday evening.

As always there will be advice & help for those jobs you would like to tackle and have not got round to, we also have free T4 sessions sometimes we have two T4 which helps cut down the waiting time.

I will be carrying the usual free plenum spy hole mod trays, intercooler bends with added Viton O-rings, Viton coolant cap O-rings etc.

More details on the Nano website via the link in my signature below remember our moto.

Hi Steve

What sort of stuff do you get up to at the meets? I have a little list of things I want to sort out in Spring, maybe a good way of getting through the list in one weekend.....

1. Cruise loom - I have fitted all the parts but the car doesn't have the loom so needs one making up and wiring in plus T4 to get it working
2. FBH GSM - I have a working FBH fitted and would like to remotely turn it on and the heaters
3. IPK - I've added the indicator stalk from an IPK equipped car and need to swap my clocks for a virginised IPK equipped set which I'll be speaking to Rick about, plus T4 to set it up.

I'd also like a spyhole

Is all this stuff possible at a nano?

Thanks
Gordon

HI Gordon.
There will be someone at the meet whom can help you with all of the above, once you have the virginised IPK it can be implemented at the nano by T4.

Steve (Devlish & Rob will be able to help you out with the FBH GSM etc, and maybe Jamie or one of the chaps who sort out most of the electrics can make up a loom, for the Cruise, spy hole mod tray will be in the blue bag as always there are about 12 I think, just replace your old by the bag.

To anyone who is new or has never been to a Nano take it from me its a good day. Everyone is friendly and you soon get chatting to everyone. Just dont be shy and walk around you soon feel at home. Artic is a gent and will point you in the right direction if you need a hand and with anything you are struggling with. I went a few times, Im not really a hands on bloke but had a chat with everyone and went in and had a nice pint and some grub.
Im no longer an owner but to anyone go and enjoy it. The lads who stay are well organised and even have a BBQ late at night with their evening libation.

I'll be there for a couple of hours on one day or the other.

If I haven't done my leak back test by then I'll be looking for some help.

Hope teh weather improves dramatically between now and then.

HI Julian.
Regarding the T4 session there is a tent which the T4 works from, we have a white board you add your name & car reg then when it is your turn you will be called.

Help with the bumper could be anyone of the crew members whom are there, search me out and I will help find someone to help you.

Pop over to the nano forum and register and your name to attendance which day Saturday or Sunday both if you wish up to you, once registered add what jobs you would like help with and I am sure someone will reply also. Arctic.

PS registration is FOC as is any work carried out at the nano meets.
