Does anyone have any suggestions where to eat on Saturday and Sunday evening in and around Malton? Is there anywhere like a a Wetherspoons etc locally?

I'm staying in York but not sure where to eat yet............think there may be a get together somewhere on Saturday evening .......... after fish and chip run if I remember correctly.

although from personal experience, plenty of good pub/eateries in town

Hi all
I've not arranged anything for Saturday evening simply because after the drive out then fish and chips I figured that most folk would want a faily quiet evening washing and nevving the cars

ready for Sunday.
But more than happy to meet up for a meal somewhere Sunday evening to finish the weekend off.

We are staying at the Cresswell Arms in Appleton Le Street near Malton.

There's a very good fish and chip restaurant in Pickering Just up the road from Malton.We always eat there,excellent! it's in the main street.It closes around 1700 hrs.Also lots of pubs serving food,sandwich shops,etc, all in the main street.Have a good day ,see you there .Kerieth.

Yes we are staying at The Cresswell Arms but we thought it might be nice to ourt somewhere different to eat on the Saturday night.
