Top mount bearings
Hi everyone,
I’m new to this forum, I am Suffolk based, I have a 53 plate 1.8T, only 50,000 miles. Unfortunately the top mount bearings are on their way out (customary twanging on steering, no obvious signs of fractured springs). My problem is I don’t have the tools or the space to do it myself, and I am struggling to find a reasonably priced mechanic in east anglia who will do it for me...... help!!!!! |

what quotes are you getting.
I'm about 200 miles away if you fancy a day out, give me a chance to use a new tool or two. It can be quite a time consuming job if the bolt holding the hub in place has seized. macafee2 |

As you are only 12 miles from me, I’m sure I can do this job for you.
