Default Speed signal

Hello all,

What format is the speed signal that the Symphony radio recieves? K-bus or analog? More precisely: Can it be used with an aftermarket unit or will I have to get an expensive CAN-bus to analog speed pulse interface?

Yep, found it myself now. Info on .org indicates that there might be an analog speed wire present in the center console and if not, the speed signal can be tapped directly from one of the wires to the instrument cluster.
