Opening Australian Grand Prix Cancelled
I've just read the season opening Australian Grand Prix is cancelled this weekend.
I'm quite taken aback by this, as it shows how serious this situation is for the world though not surprised as its the sensible thing to do. I felt this sort of move would be unprecedented as I've not seen this sort of disruption to a Formula 1 season in my lifetime. You almost feel like the global F1 show will always go on. Sadly I was looking forward to watching it this weekend so I'll have to wash and wax my cars instead! |

I agree, Now that the Aus GP has been cancelled my wife and I will have to interact.
We may just have to watch the new F1 series on Amazon instead

Not only the gp, all sporting events cancelled, even our anzac memorial service
will be with no crowds, peanuts buying tons of toilet paper leaving none for the rest of the population, cricket being played with no spectators. Govt just pumped a $10 billion injection to the economy, tax cuts to keep businesses going, its mad stuff going on here and we have only a few cases!!! Somthing no quite right here, were not being told the truth!! |

Yeah I suspect we are not being told the truth, they keep saying that 80% percent will have mild symptoms but in my lifetime I’ve not seen such global disruption to the health system and financial institutions, China seem to think they have “got over the worst of it” but I’m sceptical,

Trouble is you absolutely just cannot trust the figures coming out of China - not exactly a truthful and honest government are they.
