Hi guys
I am actively looking at a trip to the area in September 2024.

I believe there is a show around then involving British made cars.
I am in conversation with Hotel De Ruwenberg that was used on the previous visit by the club. It is intended to hold our own classic show in their forecourt inviting Europeans with 75/Zts to come along.
Obviously there are no costings as yet but I am researching block bookings for hotel and ferry/tunnel.
I will also look at an overnight stop over pre crossing.

Experience from those who have done this before is appreciated.

I'd be very interested in this, I'm sure it was a trip we were going to do a few years ago with Trikey. May be worth giving him a heads up. There is a museum quite close by I'd also like to visit whilst over there that houses some of the old Paris - Dakar race trucks.

Just to update

Contact made with the hotel De Ruwenburg. B&B could be 140 euros for single and 160 euros for a double. Also 2eurosper person tourism tax. These are 2023 prices.

About double what we paid in 2019, think was about 78e a night then.

That's inflation for you.

I have suggested to Bas (hotel) that we organise a classic show at the hotel. He could charge for non guests and make it cheaper for us. I am looking at other places that may be cheaper. It may also be that I look at a different time of year that is not premium but this may take families out of the equation sadly.

Still, got a year to organise lol.

If Hi Mick. You could get in touch with ‘ceedy’, Chris, on the club site. Send him a private message. He organised the last trip in 2019 to thesame hotel. I and my friend went, together with another 20 I think it was. The hotel is excellent, and Chris got a discount on the price. Also got us a discount on the Shuttle. We went to a car show not to far away from the hotel. All according When it happens,I might go again.
