Default ZT-T Rear seat cushion removal

Hi - Really silly request - I need to remove the rear seat cushion on my ZT-T to access the code for the type of rear shocks that are fitted - I can release the clips at the front of the seat but how do I release the rear of the seat allowing me to remove completely ! Many thanks in advance

As far as I know if you have released the two front clips, you then have the to push the cushion back quite sharply.

To remove the rear seat back look at this picture..

You have to push back a brass collar around each hinge pin.

Then remove three torx bolts.

One between the back seat and the load area.

And two under the seat squab.

Re seat base removal,
You mentioned that you had released the front edges, which is correct.
The next bit is a bit more tricky and will need a practice or two before it yields!
On the front edge of each side of the seat base must be pushed towards the rear of the car, this will move the base backwards slightly, in this situ, push your hand between the two seat edges finger pointing down, continue pushing with the first hand on front of seat, and gently persuade the back part of the cushion upwards and towards the rear of the car. the cushion should pull away from the floor. Repeat this for the other side. The seatbelt buckle receptors will pass through the pocketed flaps. You will be able to see how it works when the seat cushion is out. And re-fitting is in the reverse sequence but don't forget to thread the seat belt buckle receptors back through before putting the car back in to service !

Hope this helps, regards John.

I use 400mm length of 25mm dia. dowel with a vee slot cut in one end is very useful. You can locate on the rear spring and push back to release. Also very useful for relocating spring.
