Been up garage today and the fan assembly is the one with the Silver Resistor, they said they can swap it out for me on Friday, as need car to drive down London Saturday. Will have to sort the resistor upgrade a bit later on as doubt I will be able to get one before Friday morning. But think that would be something I can do myself when I have a bit more time. |

Missing water
Chaps
This is a very interesting thread for me as I discovered last weekend that Shagwell (my Chagall blue ZT190) likes a drink, but appears not to be dropping fluid. I know the fan works, and I had the belts and pump replaced 2 years ago. The V is dry and there is no signs of leakage around the thermostat which had been replaced about 3 years ago. Have bought some inlet manifold gaskets in case this weekends research shows that coolant is getting into a combustion chamber, or 2..... Will feedback what I find Paul |
