Well it's all of no consequence now ,
I sent the assessment paper work in today,.

And dad was taken ill suddenly, then rushed into the hospital tonite and passed away shortly thereafter.

Liz and I managed to get to see him and be with him at the end.

It's called care and it is but the bottom line is cash .
We had to deal with this.
And harsh as it seems we just had to accept that care becomes before inheritance. And care costs money

I just wish my mum and dad where still here
I could tell them I love them and will miss them.

To me I couldn't put a price on it

They earned the money and assets not me
Maybe it's a lesson for us to shift it about well in advance .

I really feel for anyone in this situation
