Diesel rear heatshield worth checking
I'm in the midst of doing a pre-MOT and spotted the rear end of the rear heat shield had come adrift from its two fixing bolts, leaving it flapping on the two front ones. A bit of thin alloy sheet, drilled with two holes and shaped to fit made a good reinforcement.
I have also removed the modification I made so I could run the FBH on red diesel, as running it on red is no longer needed. If anyone wants the tank, its free for collection. I installed it because my then partner had to have heat on getting into the car and I used a bit more diesel than normal in the FBH.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money. |
