I got the struts blasted and painted now it’s all going back together

Yes I was Andy. Julian Anderson mentioned he did it. I must admit it’s something I’ve never done before when changing discs but was shocked at how far out it was even after cleaning the hub. It was running out at 18 thou so took the disc off again and cleaned the hub until it was shining. Julian suggested checking run out on the hub and after a really good clean it was fine. Final run out was 2 thou so left it at that

Good to see someone taking the time to do things properly, its surprising what a small amount of muck can do.
Makes you cringe when you think most garages just clash on a pair of discs

I think that’s what’s been happening before as it took ages to get the hubs spotless but felt good when you actually see the results

Where did you get the paint and correct stickers for the shocks ? |
