I learned a pricey lesson this week.
Don't try to save money on painting wheels by answering a wheel painting ad on Marketplace.
I have never seen such poor workmanship in my life.
Now to repair the pitiful work done and repaint the wheels myself.
One question; What is the best way to remove overspray from tyres?...without damaging the tyres of course!

Fitted LED side light bulbs much better than the candles that were in there, managed to skin my knuckles fitting the n/s bulb, every time I touch the car do I remove some part of my body, spose it doesn't help with my hook shaped finger (old industrial injury)

Spent a fortune on the old bus this week.

She started with a slow speed ABS problem, which looking though the post on here I determined was the rear back plates and bearing, so she had:

2 x Rear Back plates
2 x Rear bearings
Rear vented discs, shoes & pads

Then I decided to give her a service and found those rear spark plugs are a bit of a NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-.

When I bought the car it had a cheap exhaust system on it that was so loud and boomy I couldn't hear the radio, so I went to MIJ Exhausts in Walsall for a full cat back system.

Finally I filled the petrol tank up

Must say she drives beautifully now and I'm fully back in love with her

Filled the Bear up with go go juice. Then home to wait for Allen to pick me up, then off to the garage to collect Banana. New fuel pump/filter and oil/filter change. Now to wash the pair of them.

Had the slushbox fluid changed today, they dropped the fluid filled back up ran the box through all the gears then dropped it again filled back up, box taken to temperature checked with an infrared temp gun run though gears again drain excess through level plug box now silky smooth chuffed

Got the corroded rubber trims on the inside of the rear doors I swapped out for nice new ones and fitted led sidelights which so far are behaving far better than any previous ones I have tried so hopefully they do the business.
