Hi Dave. I had a stainless back box put on the 2.5 Connie earlier this year at MIJ Exhaust, Pleck Road , Walsall £95.00. They asked if I wanted sport/semi sport. I had a semi sport fitted, and it gives that nice growl if you put your foot down, but is more or less normal at cruise. I will have one fitted to the diesel when it is required. It is nearly 21 years old . Got to look after the young woman. Hope you and Karen are enjoying married life.

The collector car designation disallows driving the car to and from work or school, which works fine for me as I'm retired. The positive side of this is a 70% decrease in insurance cost. It seems that not only do collector cars get driven less but they have very few accidents.
Thanks to Reebs and the club for supplying the production figures verifying the numbers built. A donation has been made to the club as thanks.

That's great news Rich, and it was a pleasure to have been of assistance to you.

Many thanks for the donation too, that really helps to keep us afloat

Today i changed the front drop links, i tried to undo the nuts, but they were having none of it, so out came my new toy, cordless angle grinder, came off easily after that, job took next to no time, checked all joints , driveshafts whilst i was at it, all good,
Tomorrow going to change rear pads, and adjust the hand brake, and look at a slight blow on one of the exhaust joints other than that, its ready for the MOT test next month,

After daily driving the car for over a year, finally got round to flipping the bonnet cable block, so hopefully no worries about the cables popping out.

I am disgusted to say, but all I did to mine today was........................wash it..................after 4 weeks. I am ashamed to admit it. My reasons:- no time to busy. And the other thing, pouring with rain. I rest my case.

I fitted the replacement steering wheel I bought of member Itcaptainslow...

No problems, but man that bolt was tight, needed the son-in-law to help!

It's like driving a new car and I like the Sandstone/Smokestone contrast

Thank you, Iain...

Filled the V6 fuel tank - finally found some E5 fuel after a couple of weeks trying to find some. Now I'm crossing my fingers they still have some when I revisit in the TF, and then again in the 260 (which is now running on fumes...)
