So sad to hear this , It was honored to be in touch with Alf almost continuously the last few years on his head units, he was a joy and a pleasure and a gentleman and will be sadly missed .

I've just switched on and read this........I know he was in hospital but he was in touch whilst there and I'm sure we all thought he would be out soon.
RIP Alf, a true gentleman and a pleasure to have known you, even if only through the forum and our chats on the phone. Thoughts and prayers to his wife, family and all his friends at this sad time.
