Fitting a rear seatbelt
Hi ya,
Just taken delivery of a replacement seatbelt unit .... I was wondering if anyone out there can offer some advise (hints or tips etc) on how ya go about installing it? I'm replacing the rear (driver's side) seatbelt in a Tourer. (it's a mk1 Tourer 1.8 Turbo late 2003 model) I've been told its a straight forward job and shouldn't take long.... (not my famous last words for a change) Ta Pipe Last edited by pipenslippers; 8th March 2010 at 17:12.. |

Due to having installed a rear blind and new seats I've taken out the rear seatbelts a few times in my saloon and it's no big deal apart from you will require a large Torx driver and some force to get the bolt that holds them on off.

Yep just had a look. Doesn't look too serious a job.
The only headache I've got now is the largest Torx screw driver in my tool box is a T40. Looks like I need a T45. Better get one with a long shaft (ooh er missus) Pipe Last edited by pipenslippers; 9th March 2010 at 19:31.. |
