Default Durham MG Club Classic Car Show

Just a quick weekend bump, as I will be submitting list within the next couple of weeks to Durham MG Club so that we can get our tickets for the show, so if you would like to join us, then all you need to do is send me your name and VRN, then I will submit list to Durham, and get our tickets

I have provisionally asked for 20, but we have only so far got 7 attendees, and would be great if we filled our allocation. There will also be a couple of prizes given out to our members

Stu

Andrew

Added, and will be nice to finally meet you, and think that you will enjoy the show, a really good day out, with lots of petrolheads, and most of all free to enter

Default North of England MG and Classic Car Show

New member Mark NE has been added to the list, and if any other members would like to attend then all they need to do is send me their details (Name and VRN), as I am producing a List and will hand that into Durham MG Club and collect tickets on Wednesday 9 May, and then hand out tickets to members at Washington Services on the Sunday morning

It is a good day out and quite a few other marques at the show, and we are officially the only car club in attendance, as all other entries are individual, I have acquired 20 tickets, so still 12 left, and these will be issued on a first come first served basis, so please don't leave it to the last minute.

There will be prizes given out by Durham MG Club for a number of classes, and I will also be giving out two prizes to our members on the day, so can I please ask our members to support this worthwhile event that has been put on for us at no cost

All Rover 75/MG ZT and MGF plus any other interesting marque welcome to join us on the club stand, which will be located near the front (in a prominent position) of the cars in attendance

Many thanks

Stuart

Default Durham MG Classic Car Show

Just a quick bump, anybody else in the region or other areas who would like to attend, as I will be applying for tickets in near future, and need to get list prepared to hand into Durham MG Club.

Default Durham MG Club Classic Car show

Will soon be submitting list for the show, so one last call, as once I have applied for tickets then I will not be able to get anymore tickets, and also the club need to allocate us the appropriate space for our cars.

So please don't leave it to the last minute

Stu

Last call for the event, as I will be sending off the current entries this week, and that will be the closing date for applications.

The intention is to meet at A1Washington Services Southbound 0900 hrs on Sunday 13 May 2018

and then I will hand out tickets, and we will depart at 0920 hrs, and travel the 3 miles to the venue, and we will then be parked up, near the front of the show, and then all members can enjoy the day

Thanks to all those that are supporting the event

Many thanks

Stu

Default Durham MG Club

Well I have finished off the list for the show, and will be collecting tickets on Wednesday night from Durham MG Club. I have also been asked if a number of MG ZS Owners can join us, and they have sent me a list of those expressing an interest in the show, and they will also be going to the show

I am getting their tickets, and will hand them out at Washington Services along with our tickets, and they will be on the show area next to us, so when we meet at Washington services please if you get the chance speak to them and introduce yourself

The plan for the day is:

Meeting at Washington Services(Southbound on the A1) at 0900 hrs
hand out tickets
Depart Washington services at 0915 hrs
Arrive at Riverside Park MG Show 0930 hrs
Park up and then enjoy show
and then Depart anytime after 1400 hrs, as the gate will be closed until then
Show Finishes at 1630 hrs with prize Giving at 1600 hrs

Regards

Stu

Hi, Stu. As I will be coming North up the A1 to the show, and it will take me around 90mins. for the journey, can I meet and tag onto the end of the convoy after you all leave the A1(M) at J63 for C-L-S? If I need to have my ticket before we arrive, perhaps someone who knows exactly where we are going could bring up the rear, and stop momentarily to give me my ticket, near the exit from the roundabout, perhaps by the entrance to the water treatment works, just before the first roundabout along the A167? Or alternatively, at the entrance to Riverside Park (that's left off Ropery Lane?) Whichever you think would be easier/ safer? Regards, Andrew.
