I have this issue in very cold weather, and it's down to the anti trap switch in the rubber becoming less supple and operating incorrectly.
I confirmed this by editing the car's coding to omit one shot up, and anti trap, and it works normally. Brian P.S. what did your car fail it's mot test on? |
