I really should get out more.......

Been to the breakers yard and pulled a LSM from a 75, plugged it into my car and the thumb wheel works. Issue is as we know the miles are in the LSM so will have to get it programmed, should be ok for the MOT though.

My 75's General Information:


  • This vehicle was the 49,501st 75 to run off the production line, out of 112,381
  • This vehicle was the 1st 75 1.8 T Club SE to be made out of 3,980
  • This vehicle was the 1st 75 in Celestial (Special Metallic) (code: IAI) to be made out of 19 Celestial (Special Metallic) 75s

Keep the old pcb and just change the switch panel... it pops off and is connected by a simple ribbon cable... no need to reprogram...

That is of it is the actual switch and not an element on the board...

Its the main board, I tried just changing the front switch panel and it was the same. I have had it under a magnifier and have spotted a slight bit of corrosion on one via and trace, may just need a quick patch to fix it.
