Well I’d imagine thousands if not millions of people use supermarket fuel every day and never have a problem, myself included

I have certainly noticed a difference with diesel from supermarket outlets But no noticeable difference with petrol

My car is petrol powered and I always use my local Tesco, it's the cheapest and always the cheapest, but I know the refinery it's from.
Several main suppliers obtain their supply from the same refinery but sell it as if they mixed it themselves. |

Had by CDT for 12 years and used mainly Tesco but also Asda, Morrisons, Shell, Esso and anybody else's. Every litre logged and mpg calculated brim to brim.
Never noticed any difference in performance or economy. Always ran well as it was maintained well. |

I've never found a problem with supermarket fuels - maybe you had a specific problem with that batch of fuel?
Worth letting them know. If they get complaints then they can sort it and might even offer some compensation. |

I don't care what petrol I use, which ever petrol station is nearest gets my custom.
I have a dozen different local stations near me, and my cars run the same on either petrol I use. |

I do notice a marked improvement if I use Shell V Power. Bit more ooomph and lot less noisy.
