Indian one is top, take note of the drain holes.

New DMGRS arm also take note of the drain holes, should they be Where the white dots are.

The position of the drain holes follows the SAIC arm, which is very close to the original position - it might not be spot on, but that's why they've been enlarged slightly (to make sure the open hole area is at least equivalent to the original MG Rover design).

I'll clarify these details once I've confirmed any last-minute changes from feedback we're getting now there's a set on a UK car - but my understanding is that everything is spot on (the review was glowing!) apart from the drain holes will be slightly larger in the final arms.

We'll also be undertaking minor improvements batch-to-batch, so of course once members get their hands on these we'll be collating feedback for the manufacturer to improve on with every production run.

Hi Matt
Therefore it would be best to purchase a set of arms that have been in production for at least 6-9months lets say from 5th to 10th batch, later the better as all the imperfections will have been ironed out correct.

Who are the MG Rover specialist from which we will get the review, are we aloud to know this please.

That's why they're showing as sold out, as we have zero available in our inventory until pre-orders open.
So there is, I didn't scroll down, just the sold out and no price. Shame I've just fitted new arms a couple of weeks ago, or you could've tested them on my car! haha

This does not however matter if you have them fitted at a garage as none of them are aware of the drain holes anyway ..........

Apologies for the slow reply - as you can imagine it's rather hectic here with these on the way.

I wouldn't worry about any imperfections, we've spent many months getting these 'just right' and the quality is second-to-none.

The test fitting is being done by Retro Sports Cars over in Yorkshire (formerly MG Lifestyle) who have an excellent reputation.
When I next catch up with the owner, I'll take down a rough transcript of their thoughts.

Another update - full alignment now completed on the UK car and well within specifications; so the OK has been given to produce the rest of the batch based on these.

Thanks all for your input; we’ll confirm dates for production and delivery tomorrow and will keep you all posted.

Another update (sorry!)
Following the successful fit, we've now had the 500 pairs put into production with an estimated completion time of mid-January - they'll then be shipped to us with an ETA of mid-to-end February.

The drain holes have been enlarged to 12mm to account for any variation in the isolator position - we have done a test fit and they line up well, but we thought best to have a tiny bit of 'wiggle room' to account for any batch variation and poorly fitting / worn isolators.

The total list of improvements are as follows:
- Coated inside and out with a good, thick layer of paint
- Slightly thicker metal used in all areas for added resilience
- Improved rear bush
- All brackets etc welded in exactly the right position
- All welds following the reference design with all notes from specialists (big shout out to Julian Anderson at JMA Cars and Marinabrian for their various notes over the years)

To avoid disappointment with regards to arrival dates we'll only be opening pre-orders once production is confirmed as finished around mid-January - however if you're absolutely desperate to have a set as soon as they land and can stand a little variation in delivery time please PM / email and we'll arrange an order earlier than this.

Hello all,
We expect to open orders for these around the 10th January; this is when production is due to finish.
Delivery will be mid to late February.
