I've no idea how to post pics but just for reference I have broken the small chrome piece next to the word "please" on this randomly selected ebay advert. Or rather the prongs underneath it have snapped off so the piece itself still looks okay from above. |

Update: got the door fixed guys. Was a lot easier with the door open. I could even shine a light on the mechanism as I worked. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who gave advice. Arctic, I shall take your tip of leaving the door card off for a while

Hi, thanks will do! Have also given the mechanism and latch a bit of white grease. Now that I can feel how good the passenger door feels, I can tell the driver's door will probably have the same problem in the near future. Really can't be bothered taking another door card off but I suppose I should
