Mine passed the mot cleanly today, rack ball joints “normal” so didn’t have to put the new ones on yet!
House is on the market so no fettling for the time being but I’m tempted to buy a treat for the car - any suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fitted my new (to me) chrome grill and swapped the badges over. All very shiny now! Saw a few brass monkeys about, so came in for a warm and a brew! Fingers now warm enough to type!

Have to confess to chuckling at your misfortune. Those 2-minute unnecessary jobs can turn into a few hours of grief driving miles to get the fuse etc.

Got fed up with the brake wear warning light being on for a few weeks as I knew it was a sensor having replaced all pads & discs 500 miles ago. It was indeed the one on the rear offside hanging off minus its copper conductor, so I (unusually) checked ECP as they're the only factor anywhere near my rural location. £21 with no discount code available for it!! Not much more than £5 on fleabay but I'd had enough of being cold and damp, so thought Stuff It, not doing this again in a few days' time, left the plug connected under the wheel arch but cut it short and joined the two wires to make the light go out - except it didn't.
Checked with TOAF but it doesn't read brake wear sensors so concluded the front sensor was also ruggered. I'm happy to live without brake wear sensors as I note mileages and regularly check the car, so switched it off at source. Peace & quiet now on the dashboard. Oh, and disposed of the 6th mouse in 10 days.

What I did with my Rover 75/MG ZT today?
You have no idea how bang on your reply is!
I’m looking for our last house, want it done now not when I’m too knackered to do it. She’s all location etc and I am to a point but all I want is the right bricks and mortar (fixer upper will do nicely) in a location that works as far as commute, buses and trains etc. We live 6 miles from Reading but again tonight it’s taking me an hour to get home from Oxford by train as guess what I don’t want to drive every day when the train is free. If I lived in Reading I could get loads more travel options as there is an excellent bus service to/from the station. And I’d get more house for the money and maybe even get a Chinese delivered instead of going to get it. I don’t care if we live in town so long as there’s no mattresses by the garages, somewhere to walk the dog and maybe a boozer, but my mate has one in town so that’s what the bus is for. Told you I’m getting old and grouchy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mine needs replacing so had a look at it, absolutely no idea how to get the bulb or socket out, so dark it stays.
