I would also suggest MJN Motors in Bristol. Mark is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Mark is based on Emery Road, Brislington, opposite the Park and Ride on the Bath Road.
When I had my 75 I took it to Mark for servicing and repairs and I will be doing the same with my ZTT. |

Thanks for the info.
Dads car is the same colour as the green one above. I didn't think it was BRG as its a bit lighter than the BRG i am used to and has a metallic / pearl effect. Last edited by Thunderbolt; 5th October 2015 at 21:12.. |

First problem with the car.
Sunroof stuck! It was all the way back and would come forward about 2" the go back. Dad took it to local mechanics, who said headlining would need to come out and it will cost ££££. Told dad the motor is in the rear of the roof??? Cue emergency drive down with my son 8. It is raining. Dad got the switch out. We got the clearish light plastic out. Removed the screws, only dropped one! What is this a motor! Cranking the motor with an Allen key the roof jammed at 2". It would go back. Cranking it forward slowly there is a clunk. Cranking it to the clunk point and lifting it/pushing it up and it moves. Manage to get it closed. The blind seems to be loose. I think it should be in runners? I think it was jamming the roof. Any advice?? |

Can the blind now be retracted manually? Does it need some lubrication?

Simon, thanks I should have been clearer the blind is loose, it can be pulled forwards backwards etc. it seems to be free of any guide/runners.

I've just had a look at mine. Just above the headlining I have a delicate channel (a 'U' shape, but on its side) in which the blind appears to run. It's not a tight fit. The blind slops about a bit from side to side.
With the blind manually opened, does the glass panel respond when you operate the switch? Have you checked that your battery is in a fine state of charge? Simon

Simon,
Thanks It is floating free of any channel. I can see, what I think, is a channel for it. I would guess that this has been the trouble. It is typical welsh weather at the moment. So we are manually closed Nd staying like that! On the drivers side there are two two pronged sprung male sliders, passenger side two slides. I need toget them in, without soaking the whole car! |

To Add:
Electrics work, but As soon as you use the electric it tries to grab the blind and jams. I can get the spring guides driver side in, but not the passenger side. |
