Tek it canny mate - Devon is getting closer

Damp and pretty miserable here - but things are supposed to improve by Sunday - forecast for Malton is light cloud and 12°

Please can you bring a few degrees (five would do) with you Phil?
Sorry to hear of Serena's problems, we'll hope and pray for an improvement.

Make sure you do get to Whitby Rev - Trenchers fish'n'chips are thoroughly recommended (the famous Magpie Café isn't what it used to be in my opinion)

Like you, I'm looking forward to putting faces to names - see you on Sunday

I'll be sorting your pies on Saturday Derek - special treat for you - would you like one for Lilian too? (and what about Julien?)

Ditto on this side of the Pennines too Ian

Just renewed my £10 subs for another year - whilst I am now a Nonda driver, that doesn't stop me from still appreciating what the Club has to offer
Good morning Rod, thank you for your kind words and prayers. Serena is holding her own, now able to cough up, which is an improvement. Her mental state is better and she is much brighter

Good morning all, a safe and happy weekend if your going to the big meet up north. A long drive for Derek and Julien there and back, but should be worth it, enjoying the northern hospitality and direct way of speaking Shame we couldn't make it. Have fun

To paraphrase a Welsh song - "we're keeping a welcome in the moorlands" for our visitors from the South, West and even further North than us. I didn't include the East cos' that's primarily the North Sea (with apologies to East Anglia and Clacton on Sea

So have I - loads of times - especially the scene with Jenny Agutter in a nurse's outfit - well, OUT of a nurse's outfit would be a better description

We have a nice pier that protrudes into the North Sea here
