Default 190 'Upgrade' and Braided Brake Hoses for a Diesel Question

I am going to be replacing my calipers, discs and pads soon. The only things left to order are flexi hoses. I will be using refurbished 190 calipers up front, and standard refurbished diesel ones to the rear. I have tried to find a definitive answer both here (using the search) and with HEL. HEL didnt respond however I still want to use these as I have read nothing but good reports about their flexi hoses.

My hoses are now 13 years old, and I am taking the opportunity to 'upgrade' them to braided ones now. (I know they wont improve braking but they will work, and they will be pleasing to my eye, like the fuller 190 discs).

My question is this will THESE work for the fronts, and THESE for the rears?

I have read that the V8 front set up is the same as the 190, but the HEL website does not give anything for the 190. So I went onto Rimmers to try to verify this, but the part numbers are different. On top of this, HEL only seem to list for the 1.8 and 1.8 turbo (ZT versions - they list more for the 75 though). My confusion lies in the how their part numbers differ even for the 1.8 and 1.8T ZT items, as I always thought all 75 and ZT versions were the same, except 190 and V8 models.

Hi,

Try giving this guy a ring:

http://reflexhydraulics.com/

IIRC he's helped out someone on the forum - I think it was for a flexible clutch line?

Good Luck with the search.

Andy

A fellow member got a set made up from goodridge and put the details on here.

https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ht=brake+hoses

Think that's just for the front. All the rears will be the same size apart from V8 possibly.

I've a set of brand new 190 front hoses if you need sizes or pics could also be sent to hel if required.

I note on his site that he does HEL lines, so may as well order direct. Unfortunately I dont have the time, nor the confidence to know if it was wrong prior to fitting - especially I may not get the chance to fit them until next year, to go back and forth with dimensions or samples.

Thank you Wullie, I appreciate the gesture. You have confirmed just what I thought. I did see the Goodridge post, and have looked at the goodridge ones too, but from what I can deduce they seem to have banjo connections on some of the 75 versions!

I have been convinced of the reviews I have read on HEL hoses. It came down between HEL or WezMoto, but WezMoto reviews, particularly from the states were not the best.
