190 - Front discs / pads?
Finally got me some 190 calipers (...again... )
I want something that provides excellent performance from cold (not so worried about fade etc). Don't mind spending £ for something quality (although £150+ on discs is pushing it!) I've got Brembo discs / OE pads on the rear, but I can't seem to find much for the 190... Oh and for some reason I have an irrational fear of Mintex etc budget brake brands. Not sure why... |

I've had Mintex running on our old XJR and numerous cars - completely flawless. Had no end of issues with EBC though!
I've a complete of calipers to put on mine in the future and rekcon I'll be going for MTEC http://www.mtecbrakes.co.uk/index.ph...ducts_id=18433 |

EBC have a pretty poor reputation (for pads at least) with performance car owners (fade on track etc) - I was tempted to go for OE pads, but the discs I'm not so sure about...

If anything the MGRover serviceline pads are dire (well were on the old ZT-T diesel) Sadly you can't get them - but ATE do a powerdisc for the BMW's and they're phenomenal. I'm not sure what option they do for our cars though. |

If you want to take a punt, you can get no-name discs and pads for £84 on eBay, the brakes are overspecced on our cars anyway (unless you have a 190/260 and drive it at 10/10ths)
