Default Beam me up SCOTTY (please).

Tonight i will have the supposed pleasure of meeting my step daughters new boyfriend .
All iv'e heard all week is "sean this" and "sean that" and to be honest i am dreading it .

Maybe i'm getting old but to be honest i could'nt give a gnats excess wind about such a ritual .

Having come late to fatherhood (in a step type sense) i'm totally disinterested in all this .

i have been trying to remember the demeanor of the fathers i met for the first time when i was sowing wild oats and i dont recall much excitement in their fizzogs so maybe every father dreads the occasion .

Anyhoo the hour approaches so i will have to put on my happy face , yes i know what your thinking !!!

If he wants to take her off our hands he is welcome but he will need deep pockets and a lot of patience.

He will also need to know how to cook and work a washing machine .

He will also have to forget time as we know it and adjust to what i call KIRSTY time , a whole new concept .
