I have a sneaking admiration for their attention to detail: cutting grooves into the wood for the wires to sit in.
Clearly a fair amount of effort has been made, but I just hope I never have to meet them on the road. Cliff P.S. I know MOT rules will stipulate a minimum thickness for brake pads, but do they also stipulate what the pads should be made of? I really, really hope they do!

At least the sawdust won't stain the alloys and the smell of burning wood is quite nice
