Default Cheap Tip: Illumination for the fuse box / footwell area

Something that helped when I was working on the fuse box area was fitting a stick-on light permanently to a high point underneath the dash to illuminate the area.

The one I picked is cheap and commonly available in DIY stores - about 5cm diameter and 1 cm thick with 3-LEDs and costs a few pounds. You push the top to switch on and off. Newer ones are designed so that only the base sticks to the surface so you can remove the upper to change the battery when required. Given the low cost, you could buy two and fit one in the drivers' footwell area too in case it is needed later - e.g for working on the clutch

Regards,
Kearton
