I've just spotted that the new MG company is also offering car insurance (http://www.mgmotor.co.uk/owning-an-mg/mg-insurance/)

if you think insurence is expensive now wait until after the budget. it's expected the tax will go up from 5% to 17.5%!!!
so a £ 1000 pound quote today will be £1125 quote after!!!

Hi all,

While trawling through the sites to get this years prices the quotes went up £250.
So iwas quoted £550 fully comp 1 yrs ncd 6 points 32 yr old no excess
Changed it to £500 excess and the quote went up to £750.
Tried again with no excess and it was £790
All in the space off a couple off mins with the same company.

How does that work?????
