are the (black bits to which the mirrors fit) painted black or are they black plastic finish? Your second picture makes it appear painted. Kearton |

Didnt find that in the topic.
Today I've recieved Finisher-front sill-floor cover for my 2002 ZTT. Orignal PN EAN100980LNF (NLA) and the raplacement is EAN000650LNF. Here is the difference. Old and new. New looks very cheap... |

very interesting
never knew exact details of Project Drive from the point of view of a car enthusiast, it devastates me very sensible though. 99% of average users would never have noticed any of these changes, and at the end of the day, that's what mattered for business. some of the changes are quite intelligent too it's making me want an early one all the more though...... |

Anyone found the larger trim get kicked off easier than the smaller type though.
In fact never had to replace the clips on the narrow type

Yes, seems that you are right! But I will leave the old type for the rear because kids step on them when they enter the car. Otherwise they will put the dirty shoes on a velvet rubber.

I thought it is the other way round!
The smaller trim is the older design and the more bulky trim is the later type. To me the later type is worse for being kicked off!!

Afternoon Paul!
Have you got these deletions/changes Sorry if they are duplicated. Bonnet cable divider block changes Rubber wedge. This deletion is the main cause of bonnet release failure! Hence the reason for my tape wrap MOD. There's still sceptics amongst you who wonder how the tape works.........but it does !! It keeps the single cable in the slot towards the engine. Bonnet earth bonding strap. This was deleted very early on I believe

Me too, about half the people that get in the passenger side end kicking it off. Tried all types of glue and both types of clips nothing seems to work. I've just given up and left the damned thing off.
