When you have got a picture of what we looking at I'd probably be very interested. Sounds like a great idea, those plastic ones are really cheap and nasty!

I also would be interested. Would there be an engraving option possibly?

Umm, can we have a picture of the bit we are replacing or intending to replace, I was thinking it was the chrome plastic strips that sit on the top of the sill that are covered by the door?
I think you are all talking about something else that I dont know of and dont have a problem with on my car? |

If so, for comparison, those on the Rover 400 were larger and either stainless steel or polished aluminium with "Rover" (and possibly also the Rover logo) etched(?) on. I think similar ones with "Rover" or "MG" logo on would be good. Regards, Kearton |

Just a quick update, I have approached three separate companies, no reply (as yet) from two of them, the third one has come up with a price of £101 for the rear, and £108 for the front!!
That price is each! so a set wold be £418.00 plus vat and delivery, then you wonder why we go to China to get a reduction in manufacturing charges. I am still persevering with this one, so please bear with me!

Problem is most of the cost will be in the original set up charges, will need to knock out 1,000's to make it viable. good luck with the search though.

Looking at the plastic version, there is only basic cutting and folding required to get near to the design required.
