Default Do you or don't you need to change brake hose?

I am looking to upgrade my brakes to the 190 set up have sourced caliper & carrier will sort out new discs n pads in the bext few days.
Only slight issue is flexi hose has been cut I have searched forums and some say they need changed other say they don't?
Whats the real answer and possible sizes of the hose?

If you're serious about an upgrade, stainless steel braided hoses are the way to go , try the specialist performance magazines for suppliers, some will make them custom for you

Default Brake Hoses

I am changing mine in the next couple of weeks, and have purchased new front flexi hoses, as the 190 one's are shorter, however, from what I gather, you don't have to change the hoses.

Hi Fusilier,
since you have both types of front hoses in your possession, could you let us know what the difference in length is, as I've seen conflicting advice that the ZT 190 front hoses are longer than standard ones.

Kearton

£15 each here http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ that's for stainless, with a clear plastic coating and Stainless fittings, you also get a choice of colour

I've had some off the seller on my other car for a few years.
Absolutely recommended by me, you might need to provide spec ie. length and types of ends.

Actually after checking, they've been on my other car for almost 8 years, and they're like new once wiped with a damp cloth.

Here's a bad picture, but you get the idea

That's pretty much where I am at.
Surely if the 190 one's are shorter then the originals would be fine?

Sizes would be perfect here so I could even order the one's unclefista is recommending.

Fusilier, is there any chance you could get a couple of close-up photos of the ends please ?
I'm going to order some hoses, I just need the spec of the ends and the length. Once I've ordered, the supplier could offer them "off the shelf".

TIA

Put "eurocarparts" in your browser, then when on site put your reg no. in and you can find the right sizes for both front and back, left and right.
