M.p.g.
After my 260 mile round trip Sunday I have calculated my MPG (petrol 2.5 Auto) and it works out to 35 mpg
Also checked the oil and water, and no loss on either.... I is a very happy bunny.....

ZT-T 180. 612 mile round trip from Edinburgh to the POL at the weekend. Digital info showed 37.1 MPG. Pretty accurate judging by the fuel I put in. Very pleased with it, can't ask for or expect better from a V6 auto

I have no idea but I'm driving my 2.5 V6 manual this week and so far it doesn't rfeally appear much worse than my 1.8 for mpg!!

Keeping the car regularly serviced goes a long way in the MPG....
Mind you with some of the driving I have seen on the motorways I am sure some drivers get about 600 yards to the gallon.....

I must be using mine wrong. The best I've ever managed is 27mpg over a tank full. Average in my 3 years of ownership is 23.6mpg. Its a manual 190, used as a daily over about 8k/year.

My 2.5 Auto when I was putting unleaded 95 petrol gave me 30 mpg at the best on country roads and in Eco mode, but VIS motors were at fault and I swapped them for new afterwards and my engine is top noch & very well maintained. But now I use ethanol (E85) and the consumption is approx. 20/25% more, so average mpg gives me 23.4 in sport mode. I must add that sport or eco mode doesn't make much difference, since I don't abuse of kick down.

My R75 is an automatic perhaps that might help towards mpg, when i am on the motorway i stick to 70 mph.. (because if i don't the missus will moan at me) I have admitted that when cruising along it is so smooth I don't realise I am occasionally exceeding the 70 mph... to which I will slow down..... but seriously I have my wife and 6 year old son in the car with me so bearing in mind their safety is paramount I won't thrash the car... common sense really... so many times i toodle along at 70 mph and cars are rocketing pass me and i think their mpg is 600 yards to the gallon.
BUT a regularly serviced looked after engine will give you a good mpg... and I agree with recent posts that tyre pressures play a part too.... It all boils down to two things... 1) Your Driving.. and.. 2) A well looked after engine...
