Facelift Door Cards.
These are so poor. The covering material is so thin, mine came unstuck and huge bubbles appeared. I changed them all today for a set from a 2001 model, much thicker, maybe sponge backed. The facelift ones were also coming apart at the edges, still, saved them a few quid I guess. Dunno what to do about the roof lining, seems to be suffering the same.

If your headlining is detaching, it's because the car has been damp, or is damp and the sponge backing to the material has rotted, same applies to the door cards. Brian |

Is that what it is, Alcantara? Seems little thicker than cotton.

If our cars have suffered any damp, then the door cards and headlining can suffer, there are some 'how to's' on here showing how to disassemble (No disassemble Johnny 5 ) And put right the issue of separation.

Probably your car doorcards have been wet valeted in the past which has affected the bonding agent

Hi,
Real Alcantara is very expensive and can only be bought from the importer down in Weybridge or a trimmer? Lot's of cheap fake material around on ebay. Tom.
