Question Metall housing thermostat K series V6

Dear members,

I see on several threads remarks about a metall housing of the thermostat for the K series V6. Is this a usefull modification? Who has good/bad experiences with it? I read that the plastic housing often cracks.

Where can I get these housing?

Thnx!

Thnx, first impression is that it looks like a very good modification. I also see a (similar?) solution on the website from Roverkseries, anyone familiar with this one?
It will take the weekend to explore this tread

Hi Rob,
I have 2 V6`s and have fitted (had fitted) 1 to each car and have no problems so far! I had to replace 2 plastic thermostats on one of my cars due to the plastic splitting Nothing to do with "O" rings or clips in the wrong position!!
So yes I would recommend them.
