Default frozen out

we are into really cold weather now and i am having problems getting the tailgate open on my tourer when i open the doors sometimes i can't close them and have to put hot water on the door to release the mechanism i have the fbh on for about 15min the car is de iced and warm but tailgate wont open is there any tips to solve this problem please thanks in advance

Hi George.
Try spraying silicone on all the door rubbers, and into the locks, sometimes you may have to add warm water to the lock area, best to do this before trying you open the doors if it's really cold, also if you can park your car where the drivers door gets the warm from the rising sun.

other members may have other ideas.
