Default How time flies

Time really does seem to fly. I don't feel old and I don't think of myself as old but come Easter, my wife and I will have been together 40 years.

Just saying 40 years makes it seem so long ago. Where has the time gone?
We have grown up together, lived together, laughed together, cried together, planned together and loved together.

What is so sad is we have less years together in front of us then we have behind us.

life is for living but like so many, life seems to be on hold

Just so, and getting faster. My wife and I, over 60 years together.---Losing a large chunk of our last years is what what's so dreadful with this damn Covid 19.

congratulations, 60 years is some time.
I feel proud to have had such a successful relationship that has lasted so long. Mind you it does mean there is only 1 notch on my belt, at least my mind is still in working order if you see what I mean

It will be our 50th in August. We hope to catch up on all the things we have missed out on over the last year! Time seems to go much quicker at this end of life!!! How I wish that I could get back all the time that I wished away when young! Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Where's that De Lorean?

Congratulations on reaching 4 decades.

Ruby, I believe?

Make the best of everyday and enjoy life in whatever ways you can - together.

Stay safe, be happy.

That is indeed something to cherish Ian, it proves that no matter what gets in the way you both have the strength and the motivation to overcome it and carry on. Well done to you both. I can't believe we will celebrate our silver wedding this Year.

I'm beginning to lose count of my Great Grandchildren.--At the last count it was eight but it might be nine.--I blame this Covid thing for losing track.----
