How much BHP can you squeeze out of an MG-ZT CDTi
Just wondering,I have the synergy 2 fitted, air intake mod, might be tempted to tweak a bit more if it doesn't negate the reliability, anyone pushed over 200bhp yet?

Personally I'm be more interested in possible changes to boost the torque below ~1500 rpm. Regards, Kearton |

Didnt Ti-Rich break well through the 170bhp mark but I belive to get much over the 170 mark he said you need to start thinking about a hybrid turbo and a totaly new air intake.
was a while ago I think. Richard |

201ps which is basically 201 hp and huge torque!
http://forums.mg-rover.org/showpost....15&postcount=3 I'd still like to see a hybrid turbo fitted and see some results from that.

170 bhp is about the most you will get with the mods listed on this forum.
VeeKay is at 164 bhp at the moment and is hugely enjoyable to drive 201 PS, as stated, would probably make the car a pig to drive and I'd suspect a short clutch life as well. Personal opinion here, nothing more, but why buy a diesel in the first place if high power figures were wanted? Last edited by Raistlin; 5th August 2009 at 15:38.. |

I agree Paul, I love high HP cars but have to admit that my car with 150 ish is as far as I want to go with it. It has great torque and is a real pleasure to drive, it also does well over 50 MPG on a run....
