Default Need some more mod ideas...

Well, i've most definately caught the modifying bug. Unfortunately i've run out of ideas!

Got some time spare before I go back to Uni, but not too much cash spare. Any suggestions?

Current mod list:

Code:
Interior:
Alcantara / Half Leather Rear Seats,
Navigo 3.5" V2 SatNav (TomTom 7),
Permanently Live Hidden Hardwired USB Charging Hub,
Ignition Switched Hidden Hardwired USB Charging Point,
Permanently Automatic Looping Video Camera + 8GB Class 6 MicroSDHC Card,
Brodit ProClip,
TrafficMaster ECU,
LED Interior Lights,
LED Glovebox Light,
DRL Switch,
Heated Washer Jet Switch,
Harmon Kardon Tweeter Grills,
Harmon Kardon Parcel Shelf,
Rover 75 Manual Holder + MG Logo Sticker,
Drivers Side Grab Handle.

ICE:
Kenwood KDC-W7534U USB Head Unit + Kingston 16GB Memory Stick,
Kenwood KDC-C469 6 CD Changer,
Harmon Kardon Speakers (Front & Rear, Mids & Tweeters),
JBL GTO4000 4-Channel 600w Amp (Mounted On Rear Seat Back),
SPLX 350w Amp (Mounted Under Drivers Seat),
Harmon Kardon Sub-Woofer,
Kenwood 9" Subwoofer (Including Speakon Quick Release Cable),
MG Rover Bluetooth Kit,
Dedicated JBL GTO626 Bluetooth Speaker (Mounted Above Pedals).

Engine & Techincal:
EGR Bypass,
Viton Intercooler O-Rings,
Air Intake Mod,
Piefburgh MAF,
Plenum Spyhole Mod,
Stebel horn.

Lights:
6000k HID Dipped Headlights,
Osram Nightbreakers Main Beam Headlights,
LED Sidelights,
LED Daytime Running Lights.

Exterior:
Heated Windscreen Washer Jets,
Shortened Front Mudflaps,
"CDTI", "ZT" & Union Jack Boot Badges Removed,
OEM Replacement MG Front Badge,
Domed Front Plate,
Chrome Dust Caps,
Tow Bar.
A couple of ones i've already been thinking about:
"Boomerang" spoiler -need to find a trophy blue one,
190 Brake upgrade - need to wait to see what i'm doing with my wheels,
Caliper colour - need to see if i'm getting the 190 calipers first,
Braided brake hoses - same again,
Chrome sill trims - ideally want to find a set of Rover 75 chrome ones local instead,
Air filter - got a Pipercross ready to go in at the next service
Decat - if I get an extra bonus i'll go for it, if not i'll wait for my exhaust to break
LED light kit - sounds good, but £60 is quite steep,
Laguna splitter - tempted,
MK2 rear bumper - cant find a trophy blue one
Footwell lights - Not too adept at soldering into traces on the light unit. Splicing would be possible but not sure where the connectors are?
Spring mod - no information available

Any ideas? Like I said, cheap is nice...!

I've just covered the dash trim in dark blue alcantara to match my seats. Cost about £25 including adhesive. It's quite tricky and requires patience but I'm glad I did mine. Looks great. Just pondering what else I can cover in alcantara next.

Roof Lining shouldnt be too hard to do, theres a How To on fixing a leaky sunroof somewhere cant find it at the moment but gives detail on removing and refitting.

your footwell lights can be connected to the front centre interior light and the cable run under the trim and down the pillar into the footwell area and coming on and off with the interior lights, a relatively easy and cheap mod

another cheap lighting mod is this one

another mod is to put LED strips in the boot. When i get time in between exam revision, i want to attempt to put some LED strips in my boot..

Should be a relativly easy mod..

Fitting wise wasn't too hard - on my car you can do it without removing the bumper. Once you've done that all you need is some wire, a way through the bulkhead, a ground and an ignition live.

Fitted pic:

Just dont get cheap ones like I did

LED boot strips sound like a good idea, though...!

Ok £150 is pushing it a bit. I've seen some very nice ones on this forum for £25 - mine were el-cheapo £9.98 eBay ones.
