Hi' can an in tank pump from a single pump car be used in a two pump car?

Hello Ed, it's my understanding that the two ITPs are different and the later one (single pump system) can't be fitted in place of the earlier one (twin pump system).

Simple answer NO !! The single in tank pump as fitted to later facelift models produces in excess of 4 bar in old money The earlier two pump system has a pressure of circa 3.6 bar in old money also there is a ECU issue
