Morning, just surfaced. Dry atm but cloudy, just having a coffee then me and the lad are off for a haircut before we get out in to tier 4. The infection rate round our area has risen by some 700%: Apparently a local care home has had about 60 cases which has caused the overall rate to increase. We are going to be in and out of lockdowns more times than the Hokey Cokey at this rate.. We will be offe to do our Xmas food shopping today or tomorrow,as there will be a shortage now that European countries have imposed a travel ban on anyone from the UK. Also I can foresee the whole country being shut down with the exception of essential businesses come Boxing Day.

Morning all - it's turned dark, grey and dismal here, and it's noticeably colder too. Our last shop is a Morrisons Home Delivery tomorrow - the turkey is already here, as is the gin and cider, so we've got all the essentials

Festive greetings
the Neurosurgeon said it’s good physio for Jessica to push a shopping trolley, so this morning I took her shopping and we bought some groceries to see us through for the next 2 weeks. We had friends who had been visiting the Cotswolds where they have a second home and were due to fly back to Kenya 2 nights ago. A granny aged 74, her daughter and 2 grandchildren, all clear of symptoms, but Covid19 positive test results prevented them from getting on the plane. |
