I remember when a twinge was something to be proud of

The AA guy and I, with input from various meters he produced, came to the conclusion that the problem was a mixture of things, primarily far too many ultra short journeys, with lots of power usage (auto headlights, climate control etc.). What caused the flat battery could well be down to me running the radio for almost 2 hours over two days with the ignition on auxiliary. There's quite a difference in starting power (or lack thereof) between 12.5 volts (OK) and 12 volts (NOT OK'.
Recommendation was to run the car for 40 minutes to give the alternator time to recharge the battery. We had a drive around, and then I stuck my intelligent charger on it for 36 hours - battery voltage (under load) now reading 12.6 volts

Good morning everyone,up with the larks this morning.

Georgie gave me a nudge, she wanted to go out,so I was up and out walking her at 6.00am

Blue sky and sun here at the moment

All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Cool

Morning everyone. Boy! That was some sleep. 8 hours without waking once, very unusual for me. Slept like the proverbial log.

Overcast this morning.

Morning folks - we've got the same cold damp day as Rich further North.
Another Friday, another week older - new granddaughter Erin is now 5 weeks old. Another day of doing nowt much for me - my back is still not right and I don't want to make it any worse with excessive physical activity
