Default Blower/ air co etc

I have an odd problem. With the blower on hot, it's hotter on the passenger side. With the air con on, it's colder on the passenger side. Spoke to a friend; he said he'd heard of similar BUT the other way round - due to a partially blocked pipe feeding the passenger side vents. He hadn't come across my problem.
Spoke to someone else and he said it could be due to a faulty actuator that works the paddle.

Have you any thoughts please?

What you were told was probably correct. Air flap stuck or broken etc.--
