Default Disel injector cleaner

I ordered millers ordinary but it has not arrived. Locally I can get Redex, Wynns "ordinary" and xtreame, millers power ecomax and STP.

Are they all about the same or is there one I should lean towards?

As the mot is due Tuesday I was going to change the fuel filter and fill it with injector cleaner, run the engine for 30 seconds, leave over night and then give it a thrash on the way to the mot.

As I know a thing or two about diesel injectors, and have refurbished many in my time I’d say, yes most cleaners will do a very small amount but if you want a nice spray pattern, and spray pattern is far more important than you might think, then go for a forte diesel injectors cleaner, in all my time working with injectors I’d say it’s by far the best.
Oh and I’m not affiliated to the company in any way.
Hope that helps
Mick

I can't find any locally so order it from here:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/lothian-b...ys-01316606040

The last order arrived a few days ago, very well packaged, in 3 days. It's about the 3rd or 4th time I've used them and they always supply & deliver swiftly.

Might not help if you need it "tomorrow" but maybe worth noting for the future.

Hi Mick
That is for the fuel clean what members need to look for is the injector treatment as here below if you want forte

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORTE-Die...QAAOSwxjle85Gi

I personally use this every 4 months in both my FL 2 and R40 diesel.

HI Mick.
For sure the spray pattern is most important and those injector tips can be cleaned when the injector is out of the car.

Spray pattern as five fine holes on the tip the spray must be even out of all of them.

Hi Steve,

Yeah when I posted the link I was kind of suggesting a quick and easy poor and go in the tank type method, those bottles that you have attached a link to I am going to buy a couple of bottles of those in a minute and try them in the FL2 as I bought a 2012 model for the wife, and have noticed a slight bit of hesitation in it quite a strange one really have you had many issues with your FL2 ? It seems like I am for ever having to do work on mine since I got it replaced the water pump timing belt tensioners, airflow sensor, throttle pedal, rear boot struts.
