Driver's seat base foam 2004 Rover 75 Manual Non heated
Hi Am looking to source a foam rubber for the driver's seat base for the 2004 Rover 75 I drive. Manual Non heated. Part number HGB 000180. 117k so wear and tear - the foam is breaking down and am starting to feel the frame underneath.
Toying with the possibility of buying a decent salvaged seat and swapping the entire base. Mine are gray velour. Have noticed that leather seats seem to be more supportive. Wondering if to try to buy a leather seat hoping that the foam would be in pretty good condition. But is this trim available in manual, non heated etc? Any pointers please? Have you considered speaking with car car upholsterer ? They would have the foam and other parts to restore seats long out of production so a 75/ZT seat shouldn't be a problem. ( I've probably watched too many Car SOS and wheeler Dealer programmes but you get the idea ! )
