It raises an interesting question though Keith about risks from LPG. A local supplier (in UK that is) says it's less dangerous to fill LPG than petrol and yet many filling stations outside UK won't even let the driver fill the car. Here we have to open the bonnet as well. I really don't know, but is there a misconception that LPG is dangerous, or is it? Tom

Funny you should say that, I have just put all the boot lining back in after finishing my Hi-Line Nav install, well up to the point where a drive is needed to verify all works, and I probably won't be taxing it this month as I have the front end to do next so testing must wait.
So this afternoon I was looking again at my little camera, it will fit but might be a bit too skywards I will wire it in to the TV tuner first to make sure it works before doing any surgery, as I still haven't managed to get the Octagon body off yet. Whats this got to do with MPG anyway? Ah I know, the more I fiddle about with the car the less fuel I use Last edited by Keith; 3rd January 2007 at 09:37.. |

Damn, now I'm going to have to redesign the whole damn car! Hmm, maybe I can replace the petrol tank with an LPG tank with a small auxiliary petrol tank just to get the engine started (as commonly done on RangeRovers)? According to a readers letter in PPC, the tank on the V8 is the same as fitted to the V6, anybody know for sure? Well, at least I know the mustang engine can be converted (some engines really don't like it) |

Engine should be no problem, all USA engines are dead easy as they are not tempermental nor have valves made from chocolate. The latter being the only real problem with LPG. EG Focus 1.8 |
