Keith:

The mechanic has said to me that they need the codes "ZCS". But OMITEC does not have the codes of the prototypes.

What can I do?

He has said to me that if someone extracts the codes of another prototype, and they send them to me ,I might accede to the ECU. Is it possible?

Have been following this for a while now and am wondering if Roger Parker can help. He was heavily involved in the restoration of VIN 000001, the XP 500 prototype and at some point he will have had to access the ECU i would have thought.

Might be worth emailing the MG Owners Club and marking it for Roger Parker's attention.

Forget all this prototype stuff it is more than likely irrelevant.

You need to do two things
Find an owner of a left hand drive ZT260 with the same equipment spec as yours or as close as poss.

Get or pay for their car to go on T4, get a list of the GM SA and VN codes (otherwise known as ZCS codes) from that car then connect your car to T4 and use the same codes

It may not be 100% right but should be close enough for T4 to then go to the next stage of dealer and market configuration and then diagnostics

Or (and I have no idea if this will work) get in touch with the guys that make Rovacom Lite as if it can be used to set the codes on the fly but I don't know if it fully support the V8 although the screen dumps I have suggests it can as below

I've not got anything helpful to add, but why is there a landrover badge on the top of the engine?
